Participant Terms and Conditions

1. Eligibility:

• Participants must be residents of Kashmir, India and at least 18 years old at the time of entry.

• Entry into the competition implies acceptance of all terms and conditions.

2. Entry Fee:

• Participants are required to pay a non-refundable entry fee of Rs. 300 + 18% GST to enter the competition. Payment of the fee confirms participation and eligibility for the contest.

3. Submission Guidelines:

• Participants must submit their entry in accordance with the guidelines outlined in the competition rules.

• Entries should include an Instagram Reel showcasing the cooking process and the completed dish. The reel must be shared on the participant's Instagram handle using the designated competition hashtag within the specified submission period.

4. Content Rights:

• By entering the competition, participants grant the organizers (ConsortX Media LLP) the rights to use, reproduce, and display their submitted content (Instagram Reel) for promotional purposes related to the competition, without any compensation.

5. Judging and Selection:

• Entries will be judged based on innovation, authenticity, creativity, execution, content quality, and engagement from other users on the platform.

• The decision of the judges will be final and binding in all matters relating to the competition.

6. Finalist Selection and Phase 2:

• The top six finalists from Phase 1 will proceed to the live cook-off at a commercial kitchen for Phase 2 of the competition.

• Finalists will be required  to provide the necessary document e.g Aadhaar card/Passport as proof of identity & residence, as failing to do so may lead to disqualification.

• Finalists must be available to attend the live cook-off on the specified date, time and location, as failure to attend may result in disqualification. ConsortX Media will not be liable for any costs incurred in reaching the venue.

7. Disqualification:

• Participants found violating the terms and conditions, using fraudulent means, or not adhering to the rules of the competition will be disqualified.

• The organizers reserve the right to disqualify any participant at any stage of the competition if they are found to have breached the rules or engaged in misconduct.

8. Prize Award and Title:

• The winner of the live cook-off will be awarded prizes worth Rs. 50,000 and the title of "The Home Chef."

• The prize is non-transferable and must be accepted as awarded.

• Taxes are applicable on the prize money, as per income tax laws.

9. Indemnity and Liability:

• Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless the organizers, sponsors, and partners from any claims, losses, or damages arising from participation in the competition.

10. Modification and Termination:

• The organizers reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the competition at any time without prior notice.

11. Privacy Policy:

• Personal information collected from participants will be used only for the purpose of the competition and will not be shared with third parties without consent.

 

By submitting an entry and paying the entry fee, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to abide by all the terms and conditions outlined for the competition.
