Participant Terms and Conditions

1. Eligibility:

  • Participants must be residents of Jammu & Kashmir, India and at least 6 years old at the time of entry.
  • Entry into the competition implies acceptance of all terms and conditions.

2. Entry Fee:

  • Participants are required to pay a non-refundable entry fee of Rs. 100 + 18% GST to enter the competition. Payment of the fee confirms participation and eligibility for the contest.

3. Audition Guidelines:

  • Participants must attend auditions at their selected audition centre on the designated date and time slot.
  • Participants are required to bring their prepared dish along with all necessary crockery and cutlery for proper presentation.

4. Content Rights:

  • By Registering for Home chef & attending the auditions, participants grant ConsortX Media LLP the right to use, reproduce, and display any photographs, videos, audio, and written content featuring them for promotional and related purposes.

5. Judging and Selection:

  • Entries will be judged based on Selection of the Dish, Taste & presentation of the dish
  • The decision of the judges will be final and binding in all matters relating to the competition.

6. Finalist Selection and Round 2 and 3:

  • At the end of the Auditions, 12 participants will proceed to the live cook-off at a commercial kitchen for Round 2 (and potentially the finale) of the competition.
  • Finalists will be required to provide the necessary document e.g Aadhaar card/Passport as proof of identity & residence, as failing to do so may lead to disqualification.
  • Finalists must be available to attend the live cook-off on the specified date, time and location, as failure to attend may result in disqualification. ConsortX Media will not be liable for any costs incurred in reaching the venue.

7. Disqualification:

  • Participants found violating the terms and conditions, using fraudulent means, or not adhering to the rules of the competition will be disqualified.
  • The organizers reserve the right to disqualify any participant at any stage of the competition if they are found to have breached the rules or engaged in misconduct.

8. Prize Award and Title:

  • The winner of the live cook-off will be awarded a brand new 2 Wheeler & Cash Prize worth Rs. 35,000 and the title of "The Home Chef."
  • The prize is non-transferable and must be accepted as awarded.
  • Taxes are applicable on the prize money & the Scooter, as per income tax laws of India.

9. Indemnity and Liability:

  • Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless the organizers, sponsors, and partners from any claims, losses, or damages arising from participation in the competition.

10. Modification and Termination:

  • The organizers reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the competition at any time without prior notice.

11. Privacy Policy:

  • Personal information collected from participants will be used only for the purpose of the competition and will not be shared with third parties without consent.
